Corticosteroids sit across both acute hospital use and longer term outpatient management, which means the same molecule is bought by two different customers in two different presentations.
We supply dexamethasone and prednisolone as oral tablets for maintenance and tapering courses, and in injectable form for acute presentations.
Tapering regimens depend on having the right strengths available together. Supplying only one strength of a product used in a taper creates a problem for the prescriber and, eventually, for the buyer.
